Contraceptive pillHow it works:Nexium is used to treat certain mental/mood conditions such as panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and irritable bowel disease. Esomeprazole works by preventing the absorption of a substance that causes mental or mood changes, so that the body can still perform some functions it has no function at all. This medicine can cause side effects such as headache, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, trouble sleeping, and trouble moving the penis. Tell your doctor if you are using any of the products listed below. Many of these side effects are usually temporary and go away as your body adjusts to the medicine. Some of these side effects may require a return to the pharmacy.
Other medicines that may cause side effects above this dose will not cause these effects. However, if your side effects are severe or you are taking a diuretic, check with your doctor.
The U. S. Food and Drug Administration on Thursday warned consumers not to use the drug Nexium because it contains an ingredient that is similar to other heartburn medications.
The warning was issued after studies revealed that the drug may cause heartburn, but the FDA says the risk is small.
The drug is used to treat acid reflux, a condition in which stomach acid is increased after a meal. Patients take Nexium for as long as their doctor recommends it.
Nexium, which comes in a capsule form and is available in the U. S., has a different side effect than the acid-reducing medications that work by reducing the amount of stomach acid that’s produced by the stomach.
The FDA has issued a safety advisory for the drug that states: “Patients should not take this medicine unless directed by their doctor to do so by prescription.”</p
The warning is based on the study of more than 1,000 patients who took the drug for more than a year.
The FDA says patients should continue taking the drug for at least six months to see if the medication helps with their symptoms. They can stop taking the drug after consulting with their doctor, but should seek medical attention if the symptoms worsen.
The FDA says it is not aware of any cases of people taking the drug with other medications that may interact with the medication.
The FDA says Nexium is “in the rarest form” in the U. but can be purchased without a prescription from drugstores. It can also be purchased at grocery and specialty stores.
According to the FDA, there are no reports of people using Nexium with other drugs, although they can use other drugs with the same active ingredient.
